MOBILE, ALA. — VSC Fire & Security Inc. announced today the acquisition of the assets of Fire Protection Specialists Inc. of Mobile, Ala.
VSC Fire & Security, a privately held, 50-year-old company based in Ashland, Va., provides integrated fire protection, life safety and security solutions for and inspections of fire suppression, fire detection, fire sprinklers, alarms and security systems.
It is expected that VSC Fire & Security will retain the staff and management of Fire Protection Specialists. Having installed fire sprinkler systems for many of the casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast including the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Fire Protection Specialists Inc. is a highly-regarded fire sprinkler contractor in the southeast.

With this acquisition, VSC Fire & Security is establishing a district office in Mobile, Ala.
