RICHMOND, VA. — VSC Corp. and its subsidiaries, including Virginia Sprinkler Company Inc., Virginia Fire Protection Inc., Industrial Fire & Safety Inc., Davy Fire Protection, Precision Sprinkler Co., Southeastern Fire Control Inc., Virginia Sprinkler Co. Inspections Services Inc. and Worsham Sprinkler Co. Inc. have recently merged to create VSC Fire & Security Inc., a privately held company, providing integrated fire protection, life safety and security solutions for and inspections of fire suppression, fire detection, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and security systems in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions.

Inc., have recently merged to create VSC Fire & Security Inc., a privately held company, providing integrated fire protection, life safety and security solutions for and inspections of fire suppression, fire detection, fire sprinklers, fire alarms and security systems in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions.

“Going forward you will still recognize the same quality service and professional personnel,” said Martin L. Giles, chairman of the board and the son of the founder. “But, with this merger, our customers will benefit from our more comprehensive, integrated resources for their fire protection and life safety system installations and inspections needs.”

The company, which is consistently ranked in the fire protection category of Contractor magazine’s Book of Giants, has offices in Baltimore, Md.; Springfield, Va.; Richmond, Va.; Virginia Beach, Va.; Salem, Va.; Raleigh, N.C.; Charlotte, N.C.; Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Charleston, S.C.; Atlanta, Ga.; Orlando, Fla.; and Tampa, Fla.
