Shapiro & Duncan, Inc. took home three awards for their in-house marketing department that included 1st Place for On-Site Communications for their monthly employee newsletter, The Drip, 1st Place for Direct Mail marketing and Honorable Mention for Best Website.

The Property Management Association held their 10th Annual Marketing and Advertising Excellence Awards at the Washington Post on November 30, 2012. The program acknowledges marketing professionals who are members of the organization based on criteria that included 90 noteworthy submissions in 22 categories.
The awards ceremony attracted a large crowd of Property Managers and Marketing Professionals eager to celebrate their accomplishments. Entries were judged on the basis of creativity, innovation and effectiveness by a panel of advertising experts who are associated with some of the leading advertising agencies in the national capital area. Marketing pieces were awarded for stabilized communities, lease-up communities, commercial office buildings, condominiums, retail/shopping centers and corporate firms who are all PMA Associate members.
