MOKENA, ILL -- The Radiant Professionals Alliance (RPA) is now accepting entries for its System Design Showcase 2013 competition, an exceptional way for designers and contractors to demonstrate their creativity and finesse in design and competence in installation before their peers in the radiant and hydronics industry.
The competition categories are: New or Retrofit Residential; New or Retrofit Commercial; Snow/Ice Melting; Electric; Innovation; and Cooling.
Entries must be postmarked by July 15 and include a completed application, a comprehensive description, photos and schematics/drawings. The application may be downloaded from the RPA website at http://www.radiantprofessionalsalliance.org/Documents/RPA_System_Showcase_Application.pdf.
RPA’s Technical Committee made of up industry experts will screen all projects using a structured evaluation process. Winners will be announced Sept. 18 at the RPA Annual System Design Showcase Awards Luncheon in Philadelphia during the RPA’s Annual Membership Meeting and Conference (held in conjunction with Comfortech 2013). Additionally, winners and their projects will be profiled in Radiant Living magazine.
“As one of the first winners of the competition, I can say that winning is the honor of a lifetime,” said RPA Technical Director Mark Eatherton. “It meant a lot to me to have my peers look at the quality of my company's work, and recognize the work presented with such an award. We used this award to our advantage, and turned the prestige into respect from our potential customers. They were extremely impressed with the fact that our industry peers had recognized our exemplary work.”
