ALACHUA, FL — The complete fourth edition of the Sprinkler Fitting curriculum from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is now available. Developed in partnership with the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA), this fully updated four-level program is designed to provide comprehensive and relevant sprinkler fitter training.
The revised curriculum contains key updates to reflect modern tools, approaches and best practices. The fourth edition also features new practical math scenarios and an overall improved focus on the most relevant job skills. All content has been updated to remain consistent with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 13 code.
NCCER’s Sprinkler Fitting curriculum includes four levels:
Sprinkler Fitting Level 1, Fourth Edition (©2021): 147.5 Total Hours
Sprinkler Fitting Level 2, Fourth Edition (©2022): 152.5 Total Hours
Sprinkler Fitting Level 3, Fourth Edition (©2022): 150 Total Hours
Sprinkler Fitting Level 4, Fourth Edition (©2023): 145 Total Hours
