ARS announces ten year anniversary campaign: ARS Tin for 10, to benefit charity
MEMPHIS, TN — American Residential Services (ARS), a Memphis, Tenn. based, privately-held national provider of air conditioning, heating and plumbing services, announces a community-driven campaign called “ARS Tin for 10” as part of their 10 year anniversary this year. Tin is an important element for soldering and bonding in the HVAC and plumbing business, and the “ARS Tin for 10” campaign intends to further bond ARS with the community.
ARS has made a huge footprint in Memphis and its other markets during its 10 years under the leadership of Don Karnes and Dave Slott. Since September 30, 2006, the company has found both major fiscal and community impact success. As part of the campaign, ARS is distributing ten promotional “tin cans” to local influencers, or those whom have been challenged. Collectors are tasked to have their can filled over the course of one month with monetary donations for “Night to Shine,” an event at Hope Church presented by the Tim Tebow Foundation. ARS has committed to donating an additional ten times the amount raised. ARS will also activate employees during this time to participate in “Night to Shine” volunteer opportunities that will be available in February for the event.
Night to Shine is a prom night experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older.
The list of chosen challengers include Memphis personalities including anchor Kontji Anthony at WMC-TV NBS, Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland, anchor Amy Speropoulos at Local Memphis Live, reporter Geoff Calkins at The Commercial Appeal, and award-winning Chef Kelly English. These donors and collectors are asked to promote the campaign with the hashtag #ARStinfor10. ARS will present the Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Night to Shine” at Hope Church with a check at the completion of the campaign.
“Night to Shine” is a prom night experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older. On February 10, 2017, churches from around the world will host “Night to Shine” for thousands of honored guests. Guests of Memphis’ “Night to Shine” enter the complimentary event at Hope Church at 850 Walnut Grove Road in Memphis, TN, on a red carpet to a cheering crowd and friendly paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room and dancing. The highlight of the night comes when every “Night to Shine” guest is crowned as a king or queen of the prom. To learn more, visit timtebowfoundation.org.
