NOVI, MICH- BrassCraft Manufacturing Co. celebrated its 70th anniversary on September 5, 2016, with festivities at all of its locations throughout the United States and Asia.
Activities began far in advance of the actual anniversary. For 70 days prior to the anniversary, employees received a daily newsletter with an historical, yet fun fact about the company and daily prizes were awarded.
“It’s an honor to work for a company with such great history,” said Rick Mejia, President, during his address to the Novi headquarter employees.
On the day of the celebration employees wore a throw-back t-shirt and enjoyed food, fun and more prizes. The employees at Novi headquarters were treated to stories from two of its longest tenured employees - Josh Jaime (38 years) and Mark Labadie (37 years). They spoke of their personal history with the company including their stints on the baseball team and golf league.
“Many things have changed over the years; however the passion that our employees have always had for the BrassCraft family and the passion they have for the work they do has never changed.” Said Jaime.
