GERMANTOWN, WI. — Bradley Corporation drew a crowd of over 150 employees and guests including Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and other government officials for a July 2nd Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at its new manufacturing plant in Germantown, Wis. Bradley manufactures plumbing fixtures, restroom accessories and emergency equipment.
The new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, which began construction in April 2011, measures approximately 190,000 square feet with expansion capabilities for future needs. Prior to moving into the new plant this Spring, Bradley leased a smaller manufacturing facility in Milwaukee. All jobs have moved to the new operation.
Bradley also has its headquarters in Menomonee Falls, Wis.; and facilities in Marion, Ohio; Upper Sandusky, Ohio; Ontario, Calif. and Chicago, Ill. In all, the company employs more than 500 people nationwide, with over 430 of those jobs in Southeastern Wisconsin. The 91-year-old fifth-generation family-owned company is headed by Donald Mullett, CEO/chairman, along with sons Bryan, Erik and Christopher.
Jon Dommisse, director of global marketing & strategic development for Bradley Corp., says the new facility is a symbol of the company’s continued industry innovation and leadership, and the accomplishments and dedication of many Bradley employees and community officials.
“Bradley’s new facility and the people who work in it every day are a testament to our commitment to being an American manufacturing company,” Dommisse says. “We look forward to Bradley’s next 90 years of innovation in America and abroad.”
“Bradley Corporation is a classic Wisconsin manufacturing business,” Governor Walker said. “It’s a five generation family operation whose success is built on innovation and dedication from hard-working employees. I’m thrilled to be here as the company expands into its next phase.”
