Designhounds Events Recap: KBIS Uncorked 2024
YORK, PA — The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) hosted another successful record-breaking year of the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas with over 117,000 attendees during Design and Construction Week. To begin the show the official kick-off event KBIS Uncorked returned, sponsored by Signature Kitchen Suite (SKS).
KBIS Uncorked was sponsored by Signature Kitchen Suite and produced and promoted by Designhounds events, a subsidiary of the Designhounds influencer network. The event saw over 150 design influencers and design VIPs who came to celebrate the launch of KBIS 2024.
Human-Centric Design
The event was anchored around a panel discussion on human-centric design led by Designhounds founder Veronika Miller, in conversation with KBIS show director Jason McGraw, TV personality and consumer technology expert Carley Knobloch, SKS Executive Chef Nick Ritchie, and winner of the Designhounds Changemaker Conference challenge, interior designer Lisa Mende, who presented her winning design during the talk.
“Community engagement and human connection between design industry professionals is the core focus of everything we do with the Designhounds Influencer Network and events,” says Veronika Miller, CEO of M2 Connect and founder of Designhounds. “One of our highlights each year is being able to bring everyone together at KBIS Uncorked. This year nearly 200 design influencers and media came together to kick off the show, reconnect with our brand partner Signature Kitchen Suite and participate in a very meaningful conversation about exploring our speakers' personal 'why.' It was important to me to highlight the passion that drives industry leaders such as SKS to do what they do so well, year in year out.”
