THE SMARTLOOP INTERNAL HOT WATER RECIRCULATION SYSTEM can save up to 40% in energy and water consumption. Ideal for commercial projects such as hot water supply lines in hotels, hospitals or multi-story office buildings, it uses a supply riser to insulate the in-liner tubing. (There is no need for a separate return pipe.) Water stays hotter longer and remains in constant motion, reducing the risk of legionella and other water-bourne pathogens. Because the system uses fewer fittings, supports, penetrations and core drilling, it reduces labor and materials costs. The system makes use of the company’s ProPress fitting technology, meaning there is no sweating, brazing or grooving, and no need for a fire watch. The system is lead-free and complies with the most stringent zero-lead legislation.
