Haberberger Mechanical, a St. Louis-based contracting firm has hired Tim Schneider as an estimator and project manager and Kurt Devee as a service representative. Schneider interned with Haberberger for 212 years prior to joining the company full time in July.

Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning has announced the addition of Greg Goater as director of training and safety. He is a New York state-certified teacher and an OSHA-certified safety trainer with more than 20 years’ teaching experience.

Michigan Gov. John Engler has appointed Randall H. Ingraham, president of B&V Mechanical, a West Michigan Mechanical Contractors Asso- ciation member, to the State Board of Mechanical Rules. The board licenses contractors and makes recommendations to the Construction Code Commission.

Cindy Morse has been appointed executive director of the West Michigan Mechanical Contractors Association. She has worked for the group since 2000.

S.I. Goldman Co., a subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA, has named Beth Goupil as executive assistant and administrative manager at the firm’s Longwood, Fla., headquarters.

Tony Morrow

has joined Condaire, St. Louis, as project manager. Morrow currently is overseeing a water treatment plant project for the city of O’Fallon, Mo.

New England Mechanical Services of Vernon, Conn., has presented the company’s employee of the month award to its operations coordinator, Fran Reynolds, who has been with the firm for four years.

Matt Michel has been named CEO and president of the Service Roundtable, a contractor group that provides sales, marketing and profit-improvement tools.

LVI Services, a national, full-service environmental remediation contractor, has appointed Thomas W. Gilmore as vice president of its Nuclear Decontamination and Decommissioning Services division.

Manufacturers

Crane has announced the appointment of Leonard Fruci to the position of president of Crane Valves of North America. He comes to the company from Flowserve’s flow-control division where he was vice president/sales and product development. Tony Favilla has been appointed director of sales at Crane for Stockham and Jenkins products. Prior to his appointment, he was sales director. Jim Stanczak has been named vice president/marketing at Crane Valves North America. He comes to the company from Invensys Flow Controls, Worcester Controls division, where he was vice president/ sales. Ted Corvaia has been appointed sales director/industrial products. He had been president of Corva Corp.

Moen has announced that Rebecca K. Ross has joined the company as director/marketing communications. Before joining the company, she was vice president/ marketing for Advanced Lighting Technologies.

McGuire Manufacturing Co. announced that Bob Williams has joined the company in the newly created position of regional sales manager.

Burnham has made two changes in the hydronics division sales department management. Mike McDonnell has accepted the position of manager/ business development, and Daniel Kelbaugh moves to national sales manager. McDonnell joined Burnham in 1986 as an outside salesperson. Kelbaugh brings 14 years’ marketing experience to his new post, including two years spent as territory manager for Thermo Products and two as trade marketing manager of Burnham Hydronics.

Steve McFarland has been named president of Alsons Corp., a subsidiary of Masco. He also has responsibility for Resources Conservation, a showerhead/accessories manufacturing company, and Mixet, a tub/shower valve and trim company. He replaces Todd Talbot, who was appointed president of Brass Craft Manufacturing. McFarland most recently was Alsons’ vice president and controller, a post he held since 1999.

Louis F. Geschwinder Jr. has been named vice president/engineering and research for the American Institute of Steel Construction. He will continue his duties as professor of architectural engineering for Penn State University while establishing technical long-range objectives for AISC.

Metabo Corp. has appointed David Smith

as executive vice president. He previously served as the company’s vice president/marketing. Martin Cross has joined the company as director/corporate development. Before joining Met- abo, Cross was general manager with a division of the W.W. Grainger Co. He has spent the greater part of his career with Hilti Fastening Systems, most recently as senior director.A.O. Smith Water Products has named Michael C. Parker
as vice president/marketing. He comes to A.O. Smith after 20 years with GE Appliances, where he had been marketing manager for the company’s dishwasher business.

Weldbend has retained Stephen G. Letko as account manager for Latin and South America as well as covering the eastern half of the United States. He also will be responsible for coordinating large domestic projects.

Rick Kelly has been appointed national sales manager/consumer products for the Little Giant Pump Co. He has been with the company since 1999, most recently as national accounts manager/ consumer products. Tracy Thomsen

has been appointed national sales manager/commercial and industrial products. He joined the firm in 1986, and most recently was national sales manager for consumer products.

Hernon Manufacturing appointed Gary Vaughn regional sales manager for the Southeast. He previously was an independent manufacturer sales representative as well as branch manager for Fastenal.

Lennox International has appointed Robert A. Lauterbach vice president/corporate sourcing. He previously worked for GE, Motorola and Honeywell. Dale Tabinowski was recently appointed vice president/human resources for Lennox Industries. Tabinowski spent the last eight years with Sunbeam Corp., most recently as vice president/human resources for the international and corporate labor relations division. Daniel L. Seaman has been named president/Lennox Hearth Products division. He replaces Susan Herndon, who recently returned to Lennox as part of the commercial HVAC group. Seaman most recently was president of ThermaSys Heat Transfer Co. The Lennox Industries 2001 “PSM of the Year” award was presented at the company’s annual North American service meeting, held this year at Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas. It is presented to the best overall parts and supplies manager. Out of 17 PSMs eligible for the award, the overall winner was Robert Cole of the Kansas City district.

Harry Moos has joined the FlowGuard Gold plumbing systems national sales team as piping systems consultant. Prior to joining FlowGuard, he served in sales management for the Mansfield Plumbing Co., the Zurier Co. and the Sterling Plumbing Group where he was three times named regional manager of the year.
