ASSE invites industry professionals to participate in working group

WESTLAKE, OHIO — The American Society of Sanitary Engineering is forming a working group for the new ASSE Series 10000, a professional qualifications standard for installers and inspectors of sustainable mechanical systems.

WESTLAKE, OHIO — The American Society of Sanitary Engineering is forming a working group for the new ASSE Series 10000, a professional qualifications standard for installers and inspectors of sustainable mechanical systems.

The working group, which is chaired by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials' director of special services, Dave Viola, is being formed to create the new ASSE Series 10000. This standard will include water conservation, energy efficiency, carbon footprints and many other sustainable systems.

Any interested party, especially installers, inspectors, surveyors, manufacturers, engineers, building owners, code officials and fire industry personnel, is invited to attend and participate.
