INDIANAPOLIS — Kaldewei has expanded its team with the addition of two independent sales agency partners this May, which includes the following sales contacts, agencies and areas covered: Tony Kaehr, Mike McNeely and Chuck Apple of Afco-Kaehr Sales Company are the sales contacts for businesses in Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky; and Michael Longo, principal of Phase One Marketing is the contact for businesses in Canada.
The partner agencies will be responsible for calling on all levels of the plumbing specification process, including mechanical contractors, plumbing wholesalers, kitchen and bath showrooms and builders.
Afco-Kaehr Sales Company, based in Cleveland, has been in the industry since the 1920s, and Phase One Marketing is based in Mississauga, Ontario. Both will work closely with the team at Kaldewei USA, Indianapolis, including Robert Sapienza, vice president of sales.
“The partnerships with Afco-Kaehr and Phase One Marketing will greatly increase Kaldewei activity in the Midwest and Canada,” said Sapienza. “This will give us ‘more feet on the street’ to build on the success of our recent participation in the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show and HD Expo.”
Kaldewei began in 1918, under Franz Kaldewei. In 1958, it produced the world’s first "seamless" bathtub. Kaldewei maintains a tradition of innovation and manufactures more than 300 different models of bathtubs. Kaldewei is family owned and operated and headquartered in Ahlen, Germany.
