RACINE, Wisc. — Trade partners can be more successful and confident in recommending disposers and instant hot water dispensers after completing training at the new InSinkErator eLearning Center.
Beginning with the “Disposers 101” module, these short, engaging modules will cover a variety of topics including category education, upsell techniques and technical product Information. Trade partners can sign up and enroll in courses by visiting www.insinkerator.com/training.
The modules, which are designed specifically for plumbers, contractors, kitchen designers, showroom staff, wholesalers, builders and industry sales personnel, feature video, voice narration and interactive games. Segments can be completed in less than 15 minutes.
“At InSinkErator, we like to give you more so you can do more,” said Michelle Gross, vice president of Channel Marketing and Communications. “Our goal with eLearning is to help our partners build knowledge and have some fun doing it. We know their time is valuable, so we’ve made the programs brief and built in participant rewards for their investment in professional development.”
New modules are expected to be released quarterly, and those who register by March 15, 2015, will have a chance to win an all-inclusive four-day cruise to the Bahamas and other prizes in an electronic scratch-off game. Completion of the first training module gives participants a second chance to win a GoPro Hero camera, designer sunglasses or a rolling 48-can speaker cooler.
To further incentivize those who enroll, a built-in rewards program allows users to earn $BlueBucks, which are dollar-for-dollar rewards redeemable for gift cards to merchants like Amazon, Cabela’s, Sears, Barnes & Noble, and more. $BlueBucks are issued by BlueVolt, a learning management system that a growing number of industry manufacturers and buying groups are using to host training, making it handy for users to access multiple training programs and accumulate rewards in a single place.
