Murphy Company Welcomes Steve Vangyia as Service Account Manager

Murphy Company, one of the nation’s top mechanical contractors, welcomes Steve Vangyia as a service account manager.

ST. LOUIS – Murphy Company, one of the nation’s top mechanical contractors, welcomes Steve Vangyia as a service account manager.

Vangyia brings 24 years of experience to Murphy Co., including working on major projects such as Amdocs in St. Louis, where he was responsible for all mechanical, electrical, architectural and fire protection work on the design-build of its 6,000-square-foot data center. He also managed the set-up of temporary power and remodeling of a 6,500-square-foot data center of the Department of Treasury in St. Louis, which included replacing all of the air conditioning and uninterruptible power supply to its data center. Lastly, he oversaw the replacement of air conditioners in Graybar Electric’s active data center in Kansas City, MO.

“Steve’s data center expertise will serve as a tremendous asset to our service department,” said Chris Carter,
manager of Murphy’s St. Louis service. “Information technology continues to be a growing sector of our business and we look forward to seeing how Steve can assist us in leading these accounts.”

Vangyia has been a certificate member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society for 20 years and a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors for 15 years. He is a licensed master electrician in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, City of Kansas City, Johnson County, KS, and a licensed mechanical contractor in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and City of Kansas City. He has certifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
