A. O. Smith Uni. Continues Virtual Training, Reintroduces In-Person Classes

ASHLAND CITY, TN – A. O. Smith, a leader in water heating and water treatment, will use its March University classes to educate professionals on its broad line of gas and electric water heating solutions. A. O. Smith University will continue to offer its monthly virtual classes, while bringing back its in-person learning that was put on hold during the pandemic. The schedule changes monthly and offers sessions on various topics, including residential and commercial gas and electric offerings, tankless and heat pump water heaters. 

“Virtual learning has been an incredibly valuable resource for us over the past couple of years, and we’re thrilled to add in-person training back to the mix,” said Jason Lichtenberg, A. O. Smith training site supervisor. “A. O. Smith continually strives to support water heating professionals with hands-on, relevant educational opportunities. By offering both virtual and in-person courses, we’re certain that professionals will have the resources and training that they need to excel at their jobs.”

Tankless Applications, How it Works and Troubleshooting

The March in-person class will take place at the A. O. Smith training center in Ashland City, Tennessee from March 14-16. This month’s course will cover installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tips for three water heater types: commercial gas, commercial electric, and tankless gas products. Individuals can register online for in-person classes, but please note registration is not guaranteed until participants receive a confirmation from A. O. Smith.

The A. O. Smith University state-of-the-art broadcast studio in Ashland City allows instructors to provide real-time, full-scope demonstrations on a range of A. O. Smith products. Virtual classes are taught on a two-way meeting platform, and there is a 50-person cap placed on all sessions to ensure participants have a high level of engagement with instructors and the opportunity to ask questions.
