Redlands, Calif. — Victaulic has announced plans to open a distribution center here by February 2008. The new 75,390-sq.-ft. facility will serve as a primary distribution point for Victaulic products and tools. The facility will replace an existing 41,000-sq.-ft. distribution facility in Long Beach, Calif.

“With nearly double the space of our current facility, the new Redlands Distribution Center will allow us to increase stocking levels to quickly and efficiently service existing and new customers throughout the Southwest and beyond,” said Clark Hale, the company's executive vice president.

Until the opening of the new center, the Long Beach facility will continue to carry the full Victaulic product line and the FireLock product offering, including couplings and fittings, CPVC pipe and fittings, sprinklers and the new FireLock NXT device line. Pipe preparation tools and advanced grooved system products also are available at the location.
