Penton Media’s CONTRACTOR Magazine has announced the 2008 winners of its Reader’s Choice Awards. The Readers’ Choice Award winners are taken from the monthly four-color product section of CONTRACTOR Magazine. The winners are chosen based on the top 10 single highest inquiry responses from the magazine’s monthly new product sections. The Readers Choice awards appear in the December 2008 issue of CONTRACTOR Magazine and on the website www.contractormag.com.
“CONTRACTOR’s readers are deeply involved in green and sustainable construction and service work, which is why we started including an additional page of green products in each issue,” said Robert P. Mader, CONTRACTOR’s editor-in-chief. “That was also the impetus behind the launch of our highly successful supplement, Green Mechanical Contractor, which will be published three times in 2009.”

THE SOLARAIDE PASSIVE SOLAR WATER HEATER SYSTEM uses a freeze-proof heat transfer fluid to absorb and deliver heat energy even on cold and overcast days. Fluid circulates in a black polyester powder-coat-painted, closed-loop circulator panel.
