Loveland, Colo. — The Radiant Panel Association, a non-profit trade association based here, now is providing United States businesses with the opportunity to co-sponsor or co-host the newly revised Radiant Outfitters program.

The program consists of Radiant I, Radiant II and Radiant Precision. All three courses have been revised and offer new information to students.

Radiant I is intended for individuals with a good understanding of fundamental hydronics. This course focuses on radiant fundamentals, components, equipment and field installation of hydronic and electric radiant panel systems.

Radiant II is intended for individuals with a good understanding of the principles presented in Radiant I. This is a comprehensive course in designing, specifying and sequencing hydronic radiant heating and cooling systems. It includes heat load and system sizing calculations, as well as air conditioning options.

Radiant Precision is an advanced course in design and control of hydronic radiant heating systems including mixing strategies, multi-load systems, ladder diagrams, programmable logic controls and mini-tube systems. Radiant I and II or similar training is recommended as prerequisites for this course.

The Radiant Outfitters training program is known throughout the industry as the best generic school available on radiant technology, said RPA Executive Director Larry Drake. The program has information on a wide range of topics from control strategies to tube and electric element installation, he said. The information is a result of years of compiling the experience and knowledge of the experts in the field of radiant heating, Drake said.

The RPA Radiant Outfitters program offers professional, generic, well-rounded and documented schools on radiant heating.
