THE "WAGS" WATER AND GAS SHUT-OFF VALVE is a simple and reliable way to guard against disastrous water heater leaks. The valve is totally mechanical and can be installed with or without an electric harness. The valve rests in the drain pan, and the cold water supply runs through the valve before entering the appliance. If a leak occurs, the internal fiber element dissolves releasing a spring-loaded piston that stops the flow of water to the tank.
