THE PHOENIX EVOLUTION WATER HEATING APPLIANCE is able to provide both hot water and space heating in a compact, efficient device. It incorporates a modulating condensing gas-fired water heater. Hydronic mass stabilizes the system and minimizes short-cycling. An attached heating module draws heat directly from the hot water, using energy that has already been produced to supply space heating, eliminating the need for a separate boiler. It can be connected directly into an existing heating system.
