THE NEW EFFEX HIGH EFFICIENCY GAS WATER HEATER operates at a 0.70 Energy Factor, meeting Energy Star requirements and exceeding the upcoming second-phase rules that will require 0.67 EF. A patented air intake system turbo-charges the combustion process. By creating a pressurized environment in the combustion chamber, the system allows the heater to extract additional heat from the exhaust gas. It installs the same as any conventional heater, making it ideal for retrofit applications. It is offered in 40- and 50-gal. capacities. Significant rebates make be available from state and local agencies to homeowners who purchase a high-efficiency water heating system.
