PHCC Members Going Green
As the Green Building movement builds momentum, the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC) has the tools and resources to help its members get involved.
Here are some examples:
The PHCC Educational Foundation, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, offers a building green seminar focusing on mastering the LEED process and gaining a competitive edge.
Speakers at PHCC events are incorporating “green” elements into their presentations. In fact, at Network '07 this Fall, Linda Leigh Francis will explain how contractors can create a socially responsible business.
Informational and consumer-oriented green building articles are included on the PHCC Website (www.phccweb.org).
PHCC's Union-Affiliated Contractors group is planning a green building seminar at the 2008 Unity Meeting.
California PHCC has signed an agreement to use the Green Plumbers® program that originated in Australia. The state's goal is to train residential “green” plumbers to promote the benefits of water conservation and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
PHCC members are successfully getting involved in green building. Take a look below to see how they are bringing energy conscious solutions to their customers and into their business.
