FALLS CHURCH, VA. – The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors3Ž4National Association (PHCC) Educational Foundation and Cengage Learning announce the release of Plumbing 401, 1st Edition in an e-book version. Available in Kindle, Nook, and Apple formats, this book is the fourth title in a four-year series of plumbing apprentice training textbooks expanding into the electronic books market. Plumbing 401 is ideal for more advanced apprentices and includes important topics such as service and repair, blueprint reading, installation practices, heating systems, related science, and plumbing codes.

Electronic book editions of Plumbing 101, Plumbing 201, and Plumbing 301, the Foundation’s first, second, and third titles in the four year series, respectively, were released in 2013, making this the final release in the series.

“Sales of our electronic textbooks clearly demonstrate that a more tech-savvy audience of apprentice plumbers and technicians are seeking quality information for developing their careers. These e-books have the advantage of a lower purchase cost as well as increased portability,” said Foundation Director of Apprentice and Journeyman Training Merry Beth Hall. “We are excited have our e-book series complete to better serve our technologically-driven students."
