Plumbing Talk: a forum for the plumbing community

CHICAGO — The staff of CONTRACTOR magazine is excited to welcome you — our readers — to Plumbing Talk forum! The purpose of this forum is to connect you with other 'like-minded' individuals in the plumbing industry. It’s a place site members visit to share "war" stories, get expert advice, share pictures and more.

Think of the forum as the “water-cooler” of the industry. Note that while all are welcome, our primary interest is in serving the Plumbing Pro and the related industry. This is a site for the industry professional, including home or building owners with plumbing concerns, and other polite and fun people willing to contribute. When on this forum, please feel free to ask any question relating to plumbing, or other topics of general interest except Do-It-Yourself (DIY). We welcome questions so please don't be critical of someone's question, or other member's answers. The forum is constructed by and run by CONTRACTOR Magazine and Penton Media.

Yates is a veteran plumbing, heating and solar contractor and CONTRACTOR magazine columnist. He’s a great resource for technical, education and project management questions you may have. 

John Mesenbrink, our editor-at-large, will also be a familiar face on the forum. John brings to the forum more than 13 years of experience covering a variety of topics, such as project management, business best practices and public policy issues, in the mechanical contracting industry. His reputation among industry contractors and manufacturers is impeccable.
