The work includes three new buildings, with luxury apartments and retail space, on Columbus Avenue on the upper west side. KSW currently is providing mechanical services on two other projects for the developer. Tishman Construction Corp. of New York will be the construction manager on the new projects.

“KSW's ability to reduce this developer's costs through value engineering was instrumental to securing these new projects,” said Floyd Warkol, chairman of the board.

At the end of December, the company's backlog was approximately $111 million.

KSW Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, KSW Mechanical Services Inc., furnishes and installs HVAC systems and process piping systems for institutional, industrial, commercial, high-rise residential and public works projects.
