Ahern acquires sprinkler firm
FOND DU LAC, WIS. — J. F. Ahern Co. has purchased the assets of North Central Piping, a fire protection contractor based in Neenah, Wis. NCP has been in business for 20 years.
Paul Sachs, NCP president and founder, will move into a project executive role with Ahern Fire Protection, a division of J. F. Ahern, for the next three years, at which time he plans to retire from the industry. Most NCP employees will remain in their present positions, including the entire field crew.
"I am confident that Ahern is just as customer focused as we are, and has the resources and reputation to take what we've built to a whole new level," Sachs said.
Al Fox, executive vice president of Ahern Fire Protection, added: "All of us at Ahern are impressed by the excellent reputation that NCP has developed, and we are looking forward to building on their loyal clientele."
