MERIDEN, CONN. -- EMCOR  Group Inc. announced that its Tucker Mechanical subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the installation of mechanical systems at the Westfield Trumbull Mall in Trumbull, Conn.

Tucker Mechanical will be responsible for the installation of a complete chilled water system to replace the existing direct expansion cooling system. The project includes a new chilled water plant including three centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, associated pumping and ancillary  equipment, and a mall-wide chilled water distribution piping system of approximately 12,000-ft. with outlets to serve both the base mall equipment and tenants. Tucker Mechanical will also replace 18 base HVAC direct expansion rooftop units, which range from 10 to 40 tons, with chilled-water cooled units.
