Tampa, Fla. — The Tampa Area Chamber of Commerce has named Simpson Mechanical a semi-finalist for its Small Business of the Year Award.

One of 10 finalists in the 21 to 50 employee category, Simpson is competing against other companies against criteria such as ethical standards, business goals, operational management, innovativeness and response to adversity, leadership and community involvement. The company was the only HVAC company to make the semi-finals. Overall, 300 companies submitted entries.

“We're excited to receive this honor and we look forward to sharing with the selection committee at the chamber the business and operational philosophies that have made us a success,” said owner Garry Simpson.

Created in 1999, Simpson Mechanical is a Carrier factory authorized dealer.
