BETTENDORF, IOWA – Schebler Chimney Systems has acquired the Wing Draft Induction Fan line from Tutco Inc. of Cookeville, TN. The addition of draft induction capabilities for boilers  and hot water appliances complements Schebler’s extensive line of UL-listed, prefabricated chimney and grease duct systems.

“This fan allows us to provide design alternatives which give greater flexibility to our customers,” said Mike Mommsen, National Sales Manager for Schebler. “It’s a great option for complex and challenging applications when we are unable to obtain adequate natural draft.”

A draft induction fan helps achieve a proper draft by drawing high temperature flue or process gases out of appliances and in some cases initiates a flow of gas during the warm-up period.

“Our initial offering includes a basic fan design for standard boilers,” added Mommsen. “Schebler engineers are currently enhancing that design and we will be unveiling an expanded line of fans with complete system controls for any application or model of appliance.”
