Randall Mechanical commences piping installation

Orlando-based Randall Mechanical Inc. commenced work March 21 on a utility roof piping installation project at TriQuint Semiconductor.

ORLANDO, FL – Orlando-based Randall Mechanical Inc. commenced work March 21 on a utility roof piping installation project at TriQuint Semiconductor, the leader in high-performance RF components for wireless communication located at 1818 US 441, Apopka, FL, near Orlando.

Serving as prime contractor, the company’s scope of work for the five-week “fast-track” project includes installation of I-beam supports for 400 linear feet of natural gas piping, installation of new rooftop air handling units, chilled water and hot water supply and return, industrial cold water, and flushing and cleaning of all existing piping systems prior to start-up of the new systems. Randall Mechanical is also self-performing all of the insulation requirements for the project which is slated for completion at the end of April.

The company also in recent months expanded its High Purity Piping Business Group by adding top industry personnel to keep pace with its fast-growing project workload in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, energy, food and beverage, and higher education fields. The company specializes in advanced mechanical, plumbing and process piping applications and installations for many of Florida’s most sophisticated facilities.
