Indianapolis — Peerless Pump Co. has announced that it has acquired Flometrico of Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

Peerless' relationship with Flometrico dates back more than 50 years and two generations.

“The Flometrico acquisition will give Peerless a base of operation that will allow us to achieve our growth objectives in the region and throughout the country,” said Tim Ballengee, Peerless' general manager for Canada.

Percy Harcourt, the former owner of Flometrico has agreed to stay and assist Peerless with the orderly transition of the business and to assist with the development of the growth plans for Canada.

Other key members of the Flometrico team also have agreed to join the Peerless team.
