NFSA Recognizes Uponor on their 10-year Anniversary with Association

Oct. 1, 2010
The NFSA recently recognized Uponor for its 10 years of membership and its continued dedication to the fire sprinkler industry.

Recently, the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) recognized Uponor for its 10 years of membership and its continued dedication to the fire sprinkler industry through products, education, training and awareness.

Robert Kleinheinz, north central regional manager for NFSA, presented the anniversary plaque to Uponor’s Jayson Drake, senior product manager, Plumbing and Fire Safety; and Eric Skare, product manager, Fire Safety.

“It’s rare to have a PEX manufacturer, such as Uponor, be a member for such a long time,” says Kleinheinz. “I think it’s great that Uponor is training and educating people about this industry. It shows they want to do more than just sell a product.”

Uponor provides a residential multipurpose system called AquaSAFE™, which combines the fire sprinklers with a home’s cold-water plumbing. This integrated design ensures fresh water is always available to the sprinklers each time a cold-water plumbing fixture is used and eliminates the need for antifreeze in the system.

“Uponor is honored to be recognized for our ongoing commitment to the fire sprinkler industry,” says Drake. “Receiving this commemoration demonstrates our long-term dedication to the industry and to the advancement of residential fire sprinklers.”
