NAOHSM announces convention, show social events

HERSHEY, PA. — NAOHSM will host a variety of social events at its Annual Convention and Trade Show in Hershey, Pa., from May 22-25, 2011.

“NAOHSM’s mission is education, but another component of joining an association is connecting with other professionals who share your interests,” said Judy Garber, executive administrator of NAOHSM. “NAOHSM offers many events for our members throughout the year, including those at our Annual Convention and Trade Show.”

On May 23, 2011, there will be a golf tournament to benefit the association’s scholarship program and the Care to Ride event for Oil Heat Cares. An evening opening reception will give exhibitors and attendees a chance to relax and connect, and it is complimentary to all.

On May 24 after classes and the trade show, NAOHSM will host its annual Awards Banquet. Attendees will gather to honor scholarship winners, the winner of the Oil Heat Cares Cup, Technician of the Year, and to recognize those who have excelled in the industry.

On May 25, after the show and more classes, attendees can enjoy this year’s “Christmas in May” event celebrating the good things the association does. The closing event will begin with something special for the ladies of the industry (and of course men are invited as well). NAOHSM invites them to participate in The Art of Blind Tasting with Laurie Forster, The Wine Coach. Attendees will learn more about wine and also about teamwork. Later on, magicians Mike and Donna Snyder will entertain during dinner. The evening event will conclude with the Marines picking up the toys and books attendees have brought as contributions to Toys for Tots.

NAOHSM offers a variety of educational opportunities, a chance to explore the latest in heating and cooling equipment, controls, accessories and more.
