ST. LOUIS – Murphy Company has been honored with the 2010 Best Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Subcontractor Category A Award by the American Subcontractors Association-Midwest Council. Murphy was recognized at the association’s 17th Annual Awards Gala on April 10 at the Hilton Ballpark.
 
“It is always an honor for Murphy to be recognized by an esteemed industry organization for our hard work,” said Pat Murphy Jr., CEO. “And the fact that these awards were decided by our general contractor partners makes the recognition especially rewarding.”
 
Subcontractors were selected based on the following criteria: bid ethics practice, safety policy and practices, jobsite supervision, communication, scheduling coordination, project relations, administrative procedures and quality workmanship. Past general contractor winners voted for the subcontractor winners.
