BONITA SPRINGS, FLA. – New officers of the Mechanical Service Contractors of America Board of Managers were introduced as MSCA concluded its 24th Annual Educational Conference here, at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.

David J. Bavisotto was named chairman of the MSCA Board of Managers; Thom Brazel, vice chairman; and Arnold “Woody” Woodall, treasurer. New board members, Scott Berger and Steve Harvey, will replace outgoing board members Russell J. Borst and Joe Urban.

“This was a challenging year,” said Jeff McCoy, vice president of Mechanical Inc., Freeport, Ill., outgoing MSCA chairman. “We have focused on finding ways to fortify our members for the long haul. Mechanical service contractors are skilled, by nature, in looking for ways to nurture and create sustainable systems. MSCA’s leadership in green maintenance, sustainable answers and efficient use of energy and fuel, is showing the way. I’m proud to turn this leadership over to Dave Bavisotto for the coming year.”

“The coming year will give us an opportunity to continue to offer initiatives that are crucial to the growth of our member companies, like MSCA STAR and GreenStar,” said Bavisotto. “We are on the cutting edge of new technologies that are changing the way we do our jobs. Our plans are to keep members current, offering ever-increasing support for success.”
