North Olmsted, Ohio - Moen received an International Design Excellence Award in a competition cosponsored by the Industrial Designers Society of America and BusinessWeek magazine. The company was named a Bronze IDEA Award winner in the Home Living category for its single-handle, hot-cold outdoor sill faucet.

The IDEA competition recognizes design excellence in consumer and commercial products, ecodesign, research and concepts, packaging and strategy, and interaction design with special emphasis on innovation in aesthetics, usability and functionality.

The Moen single-handle, hot-cold outdoor sill faucet offers a handle, allowing users to control water flow and temperature. The hot-cold outdoor faucet features a frost-free cartridge, anti-siphon valve and an innovative stop mechanism that helps ensure the water never gets too hot.
