EUSTIS, Fla. (August 6, 2010) – Lake Mechanical Contractors Inc., one of Florida’s leading plumbing, process piping and HVAC contractors, has been awarded a pair of plumbing and mechanical contracts valued at $12.5 million:
 

• The Lake County Courthouse expansion in Tavares, where Lake will work with general contractor PPI Construction Management; and,
   
• The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital expansion in Tampa, with general contractor The Walsh Group.

 
Courthouse construction is expected to last 24 months, while the hospital project is projected for 30 months.  Both commence in September.
 
Lake Mechanical has helped construct or expand 34 hospitals throughout the state of Florida, and has extensive experience with municipal projects.  The company will be responsible for engineering and installing all mechanical and plumbing systems for both facilities.
