Laars Reveals Two Key Company Positions
Bill Root
Chuck O'Donnell
William (Bill) Root has been appointed to the role of V.P. and General Manager for Laars Heating Systems Company. He assumes the role following the retirement of Angelo Sinisi who joined Laars in ’05.
Root joined Laars in 1998 and soon assumed the title of VP, sales and marketing. Shortly after Bradford White's acquisition of Laars in 2005, Root was instrumental in helping Laars introduce many new commercial and residential boilers as well as volume water heating products and controls - among the most advanced available today. Prior to joining Laars, Root owned a wholesale business in New York for many years, and spent 10 years in university administration.
Charles (Chuck) O'Donnell recently joined Laars as Product Marketing Manager. O’Donnell has more than 11 years of experience in engineering, applications and marketing management. He holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. from University of New Hampshire.
O’Donnell is helping to develop new product concepts and market strategies for Laars. He interacts routinely with Laars customers while also working with the manufacturer’s sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance, applications and service teams.
“We are extremely excited to have Chuck on the Laars team,” said Root. “His many years of experience, and his skills and talents prepare him uniquely for his new role here.”
