ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILL. — LA-CO Industries Inc./Markal Co. has announced the grand prize winner of its "Pick Up and Win" promotion.
Tim Hayden Jr., a plumbing technician for JD Precision Services in Conroe, Texas, was randomly chosen as the grand prize winner and given the choice of a new Ford F-150 pickup truck or $30,000 in cash.
Hayden was selected from among thousands of plumbing, mechanical and HVAC contractors who also purchased individual products or promotional bonus packs of Cool Gel Heat Barrier Spray, Slic-Tite Thread Sealant or Regular Flux to gain entry into the promotion.
Working as a plumbing technician for JD Precision for more than 10 years on mostly commercial construction projects, Hayden uses Regular Flux and Slic-Tite and purchases it from Morrison Supply Co. in Houston and Conroe.
"It is incredible that I am being rewarded for using the same LA-CO products that make my job easier and safer every day," Hayden said. "I cannot imagine being able to do my job well without Regular Flux and Slic-Tite. I am so grateful to LA-CO for this generous prize as well as their dedication to the plumbing trades."
LA-CO representatives Bob Benacka and Greg Palagi recently presented Hayden with his grand prize winnings at Morrison Supply. Joining Benacka and Palagi for the check presentation were Robert Zvanut of PMI Sales and Greg Meyer of Morrison Supply Co.

As an added bonus, the entire LA-CO family was thrilled to hear that the timing could not be more perfect since Tim recently welcomed a newborn son into the family.

An additional 25 other contractors were selected to receive a radio-controlled truck as part of the promotion.
