RACINE, WIS. â Today, InSinkErator, the worldâs largest manufacturer of food waste disposers and instant hot water dispensers, announced its continued support of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Educational Foundationâs 2011 âInvest in Your Futureâ Annual Giving Campaign. The campaign is a collaborative effort of InSinkErator, the PHCC Educational Foundation and PHCC National Auxiliary.
For more than two decades, InSinkErator has pledged an annual donation of $25,000 to help fund educational efforts aimed at benefiting today's contractors, as well as scholarships to help develop the industryâs future leaders. Those who supported the industry in 2010 had a one-third matching gift from InSinkErator applied to their donation.
âThe contractors in our industry need education and training to find new ways to stay profitable,â said foundation chairman Bill Jones. âThe matching funds provided by InSinkErator give tremendous support to our fundraising efforts and make that training possible. InSinkErator has supported this annual giving campaign for 23 years now, and we canât thank them enough for that commitment.â
âThe âInvest in Your Futureâ fundraiser is a great way for us to support todayâs contractors and aid future industry leaders through the auxiliaryâs scholarships,â said Dennis Broderick, senior vice president of wholesale sales for InSinkErator. âWe are proud of our active partnership with the PHCC
Educational Foundation, as they are a leader in promoting industry education.â
The overall contributions from InSinkErator have already surpassed the half-million-dollar mark, and the company will remain a strong supporter in 2011. The PHCC Educational Foundationâs 2011 campaign goal has been set at $145,000.
