EMCOR subsidiary awarded Halliburton contract

Gowan, Inc., an EMCOR subsidiary has been awarded a contract to install the mechanical systems for the new Technology Building located on Halliburton's North Campus in Houston, Texas.

NORWALK, CONN., - EMCOR Group, Inc., a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses announced that, as previously reported during its November, Third Quarter 2010 Earnings Call, its Gowan, Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a contract to install the mechanical systems for the new Technology Building located on Halliburton's North Campus in Houston, Texas.

Gowan will be responsible for installation of the mechanical systems for the Technology Building, a 214,000 square foot, two-story state-of-the-art industrial laboratory. Gowan’s scope of work will include installing HVAC ductwork with energy recovery equipment, lab controls, and hydronic piping (chilled water, hot water and processed chilled water) and plumbing systems. Scope will also include installation of systems for storm, sanitary, and domestic and reverse osmosis water, acid waste, as well as compressed air, vacuum, nitrogen, argon and helium gases. The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2011.
