ATLANTA, GA – Duravit, a leading manufacturer of innovative bathroom furnishings, proudly announces its first-time partnership with Habitat for Humanity’s Gwinnett branch. The company’s US headquarters recently supported the local Habitat chapter with the donation of fixtures to four family townhomes and through volunteer work for a local Habitat “build.”

Duravit volunteers joined the non-profit group on-site last month to assist in the construction of a project called “House #107.” Thanks, in part, to the company’s efforts, the home is now completed and will be dedicated to its new owners, the Abdaltam/Antero family, during a ceremony hosted by The Gwinnett County Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 1:30 PM. During this event, Habitat will thank all contributing parties, and remarks will be provided by Duravit USA product manager, Maja Jankov.

Through its product donation and volunteer work, Duravit hopes to positively impact the lives of families who have earned Habitat homes in the Atlanta area. “This is just one way for us to support our community and give back to those who live in our area. Though this was our first time partnering with Habitat for Humanity, it certainly will not be our last. We look forward to continued future collaborations,” said Tim Schroeder, President, Duravit USA.
