WINDSOR, CONN – Comfort Systems USA Energy Services, a subsidiary of Comfort Systems USA has announced that they have received qualification for the United States Department of Energy’s (DOE) Qualified List of Energy Services companies (ESCOs).

Inclusion into this well recognized group of energy services companies means Comfort Systems USA Energy Services may compete for advertised federal energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs).  The Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct) directed the Department of Energy to develop methods and procedures to bring energy savings performance contracts into the mainstream of federal procurement.
