Contractors Thom Sellars has been named vice president and general manager of EMCOR Services Midwest, based in Elmhurst, Ill. A former chief master sergeant in the Air Force, Sellars most recently worked for Carrier Corp. He joined EMCOR in 2005. Coastal Mechanical Services has promoted Dan Campbell to engineering manager. Coastal Mechanical Services has promoted Dan Campbell to engineering manager. Campbell has been with Coastal Mechanical since 2000.

Limbach Facility Services has promoted Timothy Ward to president of Mechanical Professional Services, the company's design engineering group. Ward has been with the company since 1998, and has been a mechanical engineer since 1982. Limbach has also promoted Leonard Hayward to vice president and manager of the Los Angeles branch. He has more than 33 years' experience in the mechanical contracting industry. Before working for Limbach, he worked for the University of Marelich Mechanical as the senior director and project executive.

Robert L. Koester has been promoted to chief financial officer at Murphy Co. in St. Louis. Koester joined the company in 2003 after working as a senior manager at Deloitte and Touche in St. Louis and Deloitte’s national office in Wilton, Conn.

IAPMO has announced that Irene Gould is the organization’s new director of marketing and communications. She has more than 25 years of marketing experience, having worked as an illustrator, graphics designer and agency owner.

Choate Construction Co. has appointed Greg Dills to head its water/wastewater construction division. Dills has more than 22 years of construction experience, primarily in water and wastewater treatment plants throughout the southwest.

Vendors

Taco has added three senior managers to its executive operating committee. Robert Coons has joined as senior vice president/residential sales. Coons has held a variety of positions over the last 15 years he has spent in the industry, most recently with Burnham Hydronics. Michael McNamara has joined as vice president/circulator engineering. He comes to the company after10 years at Pentair Pumps, where he was director of engineering. Nelson Rego has joined the company as vice president/quality services. Previously, Rego worked for Cowan Plastics where he was that firm’s quality assurance manager.

Debra Barton has been hired as sales manager for Everpure. Before joining the company, Barton was regional sales manager for First Texas Products.

Mike O'Reilly has been named general manager for ITW Red Head, an Illinois Tool Works company based in Wood Dale, Ill. O’Reilly joined the company in 2004 as a national sales manager.

A.O. Smith has announced the following executive appointments at its Milwaukee World Headquarters: Jane M. Sanford has been named vice president/global human resources and organizational development; Craig R. Watson has been named vice president/investor relations; and Thomas J. Olander joins the company as vice president/global compensation, benefits and payroll, a newly created position. Sanford has served as director of human resources since January 2005. Watson joined A.O. Smith as investor relations director in 1996. Olander comes to the company from U.S. Can Co., where he was vice president/human resources.

Sloan Valve Co. has appointed David Woodworth as network sales and engineering specialist for Sloan's Programmed Water Technologies Division. Woodworth has worked for more than 20 years in sales and management positions at various companies, including Engineered Concepts, Kliman Sales, Jerome & Associates and R.V. Cloud Co.

WennSoft has added Gordon McBride to the company's operations team in the role of general manager/construction and specialty technical trades. Based in Kansas City, Mo., McBride brings more than 20 years’ sales experience in the construction software industry to the newly created position.

Uponor North America recently announced appointments in the sales and marketing team. Jane Doyon was named senior manager/customer loyalty, a newly created function in Uponor's sales and marketing unit. Jackie Sharrock accepted the position of Western U.S. sales manager. She has been with Uponor for eight years and was a regional sales manager in the Pacific Northwest territory and most recently in the Rocky Mountain region.
