Contractors J. F. Ahern Co. has appointed James Lippold as HVAC project manager. He brings more than nine years' industry experience to JFA. Lippold most recently served as installation manager for Johnson Controls in Waukesha, Wis. Dick Wirt has joined JFA as the HVAC commissioning team leader. Wirt, who has more than 30 years' industry experience, is responsible for overseeing the functional testing

J. F. Ahern Co. has appointed James Lippold as HVAC project manager. He brings more than nine years' industry experience to JFA. Lippold most recently served as installation manager for Johnson Controls in Waukesha, Wis. Dick Wirt has joined JFA as the HVAC commissioning team leader. Wirt, who has more than 30 years' industry experience, is responsible for overseeing the functional testing and balancing of new and existing HVAC systems, with a specialization in flow verification for operating rooms and lab hoods.

Linc Network has named Tom Patten its newest area vice president within the Field Support group. He brings to the post more than 30 years' experience in HVAC sales and management.

The Mechanical Contractors of North Central Wisconsin has awarded a series of scholarships. Kristine Leonowicz and Brenda Johnson have won awards of $2,000 each. Drew Vanderlin, Danielle Dow and Stacy Sherman have all won Wisconsin Valley Sheet Metal Contractors Association Industry fund scholarships of $1,000 each. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, character references and other criteria.

The Mechanical Contractors Association of Northwest Wisconsin has announced that Adrianne C. Woolford has won its Industry Fund Scholarship Award of $1,000. In-Sink-Erator presented the Robert M. Cox and Lawrence B. Dore Awards for Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Auxiliaries in September at the company's annual PHCC Auxiliary Luncheon in Orlando, Fla. Darlene E. Moyer of the Pennsylvania PHCC Auxiliary was named the Lawrence B. Dore "Member of the Year," and both the Lincoln PHCC of Nebraska and the Broome County (N.Y.) PHCC Women's Auxiliary came in first place for the Cox "Image" award. Moyer received a $1,000 award and commemorative plaque.

Vendors

Elkay Manufacturing has formed a new Plumbing Products Division, which will incorporate Elkay's lines of residential and commercial sinks, faucets, water coolers and related accessories. Jim Scott, current president of the Elkay Division, will be president of the new division. In a newly created position, Stan Bandur will become president/North American Operations, Plumbing Products Division, reporting to Scott. Bandur has been with Elkay since 1978, serving in customer service, product planning and a variety of assignments in sales and marketing. Bob Seeley, current executive vice president/marketing and sales of the Elkay Division, will assume the new position of executive vice president/marketing and sales, North America, reporting to Bandur. Steve Rogers, current vice president/engineering, will assume the new position of vice president/ engineering and sink and faucet product development, reporting to Scott.

The Rheem Manufacturing Co. has promoted Simon Parfitt to president of its Water Heating Division. Parfitt, who has served the division as its vice president and controller since 1996, succeeds Scott D. Martin, who was named president and CEO of Rheem Manufacturing in August.

Orion Fittings has named Jim DuPont director of global business development. He comes to the company from Sanitec.

Eljer has promoted Chris Miller to director of marketing and product manager kitchen sinks. He is a 15-year veteran of the company, most recently serving as marketing manager.

Bradford White recently hired Eric D. Cytrynowicz as the company's product manager. The company as also announced the retirements of Michael J. Carfagno and Mary McCrossin. Carfagno has been with the company since 1971, holding a variety of positions in service, warranty, marketing, purchasing and sales. McCrossin has been with the company since 1965, most recently serving as national sales administrator. With the retirement of Carfagno, Thomas A. Settefrati has been appointed to the position of regional sales manager. As McCrossin leaves, Rita Jordan has been named manager of order management.

Fluidmaster has announced that Sharon Vessels has joined the company as product manager/connector products. James Sanford has joined the company's national sales team as sales manager/plumbing wholesale. His experience includes overseeing a sales team with more 30 sales representatives, in addition to being responsible for more than 300 Home Depot stores.

Messe Frankfurt Inc. has named David Audrain president. Messe Frankfurt Inc. is a subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt Exhibitions GmbH based in Frankfurt, Germany. Audrain will succeed Roland Bleinroth. Audrain had been chief operating officer and executive vice president of ConvExx in Las Vegas.
