FALLS CHURCH, VA. — Contractors can learn about changes to the 2006 International Codes while earning continuing education and learning units by participating in an International Code Council telephone seminar.

Contractors can save time and travel expenses by learning via telephone. Four sessions offer an overview of the changes from the 2003 edition to the 2006 edition of the International Building, Residential, Plumbing and Fire Codes. Each class will focus on changes in code requirements and organization. A code expert will teach each session.

2006 International Code Update: IBC is set for Jan. 11; 2006 International Code Update: IR is slated for Feb. 28; 2006 International Code Update: IPC will be March 28; and 2006 International Code Update: IFC is scheduled for April 19.

The registration fee for each telephone seminar is $175 per site and pays for an unlimited number of participants at one location. The call-in number for each seminar is toll-free and groups may select to attend any number of seminars in the series.
