HOUSTON — On the heels of celebrating its 25th anniversary, Houston-based Affiliated Building Services LLC, (ABS) a provider of outsourced facility management services, announced that it has changed its name and is adopting a new identity as part of an overall brand strategy. As Linc Facility Services LLC, the former ABS will more closely align with the identity of its parent organization, The Linc Group LLC and sister companies, The Linc Corp., Linc Mechanical Services, and Linc Service Co.

According to Tracy K. Price, CEO, The Linc Group, “The re-branding of ABS to Linc Facility Services continues the evolution of this proud company from its previous life as an adjunct component of a construction company, to an unencumbered core competency of The Linc Group. ABS will continue to benefit from The Linc Group’s focus on enabling technologies that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. The alignment of our service assets will bring additional capability to ABS, which will facilitate its growth in vertical markets beyond its current customer base.”

The former ABS has been providing comprehensive facility management services to Fortune 500 companies across the U.S since 1979. The company primarily serves the aviation, high tech, light industrial and commercial industries focusing on customers with critical facilities that require uninterrupted service. To support its operations at more than 100 customer sites, the company has offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Irvine, Calif. With more than 100 million square feet of space under contract, the company employs in excess of 900 people. More information on the newly renamed Linc Facility Services is available at www.lincfs.com.
