AMPAM Sells Riggs Assets
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS — American Plumbing & Mechanical announced that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division, has approved the sale of the assets and business operations of its wholly owned subsidiary AMPAM Riggs Plumbing to Montage Holdings.
AMPAM Riggs operates primarily in the Phoenix and Tucson, Ariz., areas.
“This is another significant step in our efforts to restructure AMPAM in a manner that delivers the highest value to our economic stakeholders while maintaining our high standards for customer service,” said Robert Christianson, AMPAM’s chairman and CEO.
AMPAM filed its Joint Plan of Reorganization and Disclosure Statement April 16 with the Bankruptcy Court. The confirmation hearing for the plan began May 27 and after completion of certain preliminary matters was recessed to June 16 to accommodate further efforts to achieve a consensus plan.
