Boiler Firm WARE Expands
LOUISVILLE, KY. — Ivan Ware & Son Inc., dba WARE, one of the largest boiler rental companies in the country, announced that it bought Boiler & Heat Exchange Systems Inc. and The Valve Shop (a subsidiary of Boiler & Heat Exchange Systems) both headquartered in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Boiler & Heat Exchange Systems was founded in 1984 and has grown to be one of the largest boiler service and repair companies in Tennessee, north Georgia and northern Alabama. Established in 1989, The Valve Shop is certified to assemble and set new valves by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is also certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to repair and set all types of safety valves.
WARE is currently one of the largest boiler rental companies in the U.S. This acquisition makes WARE one of the largest boiler service companies in the southeast, serving Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
The addition of The Valve Shop means that WARE can offer a large inventory of new and rebuilt valves, which can be set to the customer’s specifications and typically shipped on the same day ordered.
